Mcgearhead, yup cats do find funny ways to sleep. I, too have seen them sleeping on a tire. One time
I got in the car to leave again, aftr having just getting home about a half hour before. It was in
the winter time with an inch or so of snow on the ground and about 25degrees. I put the key in the
ignition and pushed the clutch in and it would not go all the way down. This was back when the brake
and clutch petals went right down through the floor under the petal. It didn't feel right, kinda
bouncy-like. I didn't know what was wrong with it cause it did not feel right. I slacked off and
pushed it down again with a good push. Then I heard a loud weird nose. I slacked off again and the
cat ran staggering toward the front door. He had crawled up in there where it was warm from the
engine. I know I must have pinned him pretty hard because acted like he was sore for a few hours. He
learned a lesson from that experience because I don't think he ever got up in there again. LOL
