I'm a Cigar Band Magnate, or something.

I bought a thousand or more vintage cigar bands and cigar box labels for $20. Some of the immediately most interesting are these presidential bands from 1907 (according to the Internet ). This was a set of the first 25 presidents, and I have 88 bands. AND I STILL DON'T HAVE A COMPLETE SET Plus they're already stuck to the paper and it looks tricky to remove them. Anyway, a set has sold for $300+ complete (2001), and $100 missing one band (this month). Maybe I'll sell by the sheet, Idonno.

Have you checked for some of the rarer single bands?

I saw that book - there are some of the same issue of presidential bands as I have in it. I haven't found any kind of reference as to values for cigar bands at all. Most collectible price guides I've seen overestimate ebay prices by about 10X. Still it would be to know which ones are most desired.
