I'm considering buying an AT Pro, BUT I was wondering if Garrett will

fix the problems and change things like lengthening the arm shaft, making the headphone wires longer, including an adapter to use your own phones etc. Seems to me they would fix these things rather than have buyers have to muck them up with add-ons.

I just hate the thought of buying one now and in 6 months they come out with a "new and improved version" like they did with my F75.

......You could call and make a request for a special order and see what they say.......

I don't know if they have longer shafts, but I was told they would have adapters for using your own phones but don't know if the adapter is waterproof.

I want Garrett to offer longer coil cables and hip mount kits. And longer arm shafts too.

Re: I'm considering buying an AT Pro, BUT I was wondering if Garrett will

Offer a spiral coil cable like headphones have. No wire fatique! Now you can hip mount the box. Plus a back/forth switch, you know, all metal back to the last test scrim mode back to all metal, back and forth. Now we are adding cost. And marketability.

Something tells me I can switch from all metal back to scrim back and forth. I've only had it for a few days. And the manual is thick.

Push button backlight for the second shift guys, dig deeper into the wallet.

ATUltraPro.

Keep the cost the same , just lengthen the headphone cable and the coil cable to usable lengths .......Then come out with optional chest and hip mount accessories to make the $$$ .....Easy stuff to make , and can charge for it .....Jim

The thing is enigmatic. It is a diamond in the rough.

LOL everything you named are very small things that don't bother most people.

The ergo's are not perfect. I agree with all members' comments about perceived or actual shortcomings. The connections are difficult, but good quality. I can mod the armrest length, that's easy. The stock coil is hefty. I hope the concentric will feel a bit lighter, after it lightens my wallet.

i vote for a back lit screen, last mode button and also size imaging on the next one :headbang:
