I'm Down with the Brothers big score!!!

Found a dumpster with about 400 LP's and picked out this gem today.

The Ghetto Brothers 1971 issue.



Last one sold for $1400 in Dec 2014

It was an apartment building who are cleaning out their storage room. The porter told me last week they dumped a lot but still have a room with stacks of them. I'll be back tomorrow.

My uncle would go nuts over that. (He's hot platters on the web and Ebay.) This is what he does; buys and sells old albums.

I was able to get another 50 lps in VG and above condition which range between $10 to $35 a piece. The nice thing about shipping records is it's economical thru media mail.

After doing more research The Ghetto brothers LP is considered a "Holy Grail" disk due to its rarity and historical background.

The trick is to look for non major record labels. This one was on Salsa. The obscure, I never heard of it can be rare limited pressings even of major artists before they signed with labels like Warner, Sony, Polydor, CBS and so on.
