8-)After 8 years, I got something I never thought I would ever get. My 1st dream box!! :laughing9: Amazingly it was a Brinks cube box with Dunbar marked rolls in it. I've been getting these boxes for a while with not much luck. I didn't keep track of the enders but only 8 rolls didn't have any silver in them. The best roll had 7. Anyway the box had 24 90% (1/53 Ben, 22/64 Ken & 1/64D Ken) & 120 40% (2/65 wt 11.5 grams, 22/66, 24/67, 36/68, 1/68S proof, 32/69, 1/70D, 1/70S & 1/76 Bicentennial). I figure that's at least 25 ozs of silver. Cost me $71 to bring the box value back up to $500. That's a problem I wouldn't mind having more often (LOL). Anyhow I want to wish everyone a safe & enjoyable holiday season with much silver in your boxes & teller finds.

Thanks for your service, congrats on your find and please post the pics!

Sweet cull of silver. Pretty cool not just the volume but the trifecta of '70's silver. Many are never fortunate to check those boxes off their bucket list. Look forward to the silver p0rn. Try your pics again.

Thanks for your service, congrats on your find and please post the pics!

On my screen it shows the pictures. I had my wife take the pictures with her cell phone & email them to me. Can someone tell me how I can attach them into treasure net? I tried dragging them over from the email & copy & paste.
Thanks
Gary

Congrats on the dream box. Save the pics from your email to your camera roll. You should be able to attach pics from there.

Nice dream to have, just don't wake up too fast. Congrats on your big catch, I guess holiday silver is early this year.

WELCOME BACK!!!

35 months ago I got a Brinks cube & a Dunbar that had my 49 Walkers, with a pile of Bens & Kens....yours must have been on the same pallet hidden in the men's room under the sink:dontknow::dontknow::happysmiley::laughing9::laughing9:

Big congrats! :occasion14:

Congrats that's a nice payday

Congrats! That's definitely a dream box, just due to the 1970s. I've never found a 1970 half.

Kindest regards,
Kantuck

It took 8 years, but that patience and persistence paid off - Congrats. I echo Kantuck's comment on the 1970s - those alone are a great find!

I also email the cell phone pics to my email as you did. From my email, I then save the pics to my computer. Once saved to the computer, then go back to the tnet reply box, click on the little symbol at the top of the box and follow a couple of prompts to attach pics. Once you've done it, it will become second nature to you. There must be an illustrated post by the mods on this topic on here somewhere, maybe "how to post pics" or something like that.

Neither have I! To find two in one box must be a record here.

I remember someone once posted definitions for a box to qualify as a dream box. Regardless, IMO this box would qualify to me. The most we have found in one single box is less than half of your results.

While the silver certainly has monetary value, IMO the real value is the joy of the discoveries. I've often wondered how our bodies respond to such experiences. I can imagine that the thrills of making these finds must be accompanied by physiological changes - heart rate increases, blood pressure, etc. as well as many chemical changes in the brain. Do we have any volunteers for such an experiment?

Congrats again!

Nothing like opening a box and seeing all those enders staring you in the face!

Congrats again!

I started coin roll hunting in Dec 2010 & I joined treasure net in July 2011 after some 6 months of going thru the old posts on the site. When I joined the standard for a "dream" half dollar box was at least 100 silvers in a box. That is still the standard for a "dream" box today as far as I know. I never thought I would ever find one but I did. For me it's more the thrill of the hunt than the actual finds as you will get many more skunk boxes than boxes with silver. I estimate that I've gone thru some 1500 boxes over the past 8 years. Hope this answers your question. :laughing9::laughing9::laughing9:
