I'm gonna start calling this site "Pendant City"
Yesterday I got out for about an hour and a half at the old Catholic school site and dug up two more copper pendants, which makes five pendants found here altogether. The larger pendant looked to have been silver plated at one time, but most of that is now gone.
With the heart-shaped pendant I finally have a name to go with the find–Ann or Anna. It's barely readable but looks to have been hand inscribed.
The other pendant is another religious pendant which says "Virgo Carmeli," and on the reverse side says "Made" "Italy'.
The school safety committee badge has the Automobile Club of Southern California with the classic "Good Roads" emblem stamped on it.
This time I was using my 10x12 spider coil on my Silver uMax, and was pretty amazed that it got the smalll heart pendant at around 5". Monday I'll hit this spot again and see what else I can coax out of the ground.
