Im in ridgecrest for the week.

Does anybody have a suggestion where i could dry pan or metal detect? Ive been going on thediggings.com and trying to find a spot close to ridgecrest thats not claimed, but i dont know the area well enough to make an educated decision.

I used to live in ridgecrest and I met a lot of prospectors when I was there. A lot of the people I met would head into the hills down towards randsburg and Johannesburg.
