Red Came in And told Me that a husky dog was Making toilet Near Apt 6 When I went out It came running over to me!!!
while petting it I noticed that It was Very Skinny Thirsty and Hungry. I asked red to grab the Extra Chicken breast from dinner to give to Her!!!! She was Eating it so fast because she was Starving she was choking on it I pulled the meat out of her mouth and broke it up for her!!! There were tags with a phone number on it. I tried to call animal control first because of the condition of her they are closed!!!
So i called the number on the tag and Her owner Answered!!! Asked if she owned A Husky named Annie she said she did and was Out looking for it!!!! She showed up a few minutes later and I told Her that I would Be filing a report with Amimal control First thing in the Morning I have her phone number and Dogs Name!! And Most important PICTURES!!!!

This poor Girl is at least 10 pounds underweight!!!!

Good for you. :notworthy: I have a soft spot for dogs, and hate to see one suffer. Im afraid it happens more then we will ever know.

Nice save and a good deed done.

Semper Fi

I'm just curious, how long was the dog missing?

That dog would of had to be missing quite a while to for it to get that thin.

One of my favorite dogs! How did the owner recieve the news that you would be filing a report?
Nervous or defensive?

She said the dog got out 30 min ago!!!

She She was vary, pissed that i was going to call!! I Told her that her dog was very under weight and starving!!!

The owner wasn't under weight or starving!!!!

My Lady dog was dropped off by the side of the road. She was skinny but not in bad shape. finally I took her to the vet, she had heart worm! so the owner dumped her. after 600 dollars and six months of home care ,she was pronounced cured. Lady has been our dog for several years as a outside dog. hates to come in the house, and is a runner like most huskies. let her loose and she is gone for a couple hours. Now she is showing old age and is deaf and crippled up. since I can no longer take long walks, this will be her last summer, too bad they cant put me down too. Bob

I have a huge soft spot for animals.. I am so glad she came to you chug n red.. and by all means, I would follow up on the report as well..that is so unfair to that poor furbaby.

Called this morning no answer!!!! Left the info on her, my name and number asking for an email address to send pic's to!!!!

The dog can't say it, but 'Thanks' Chug and Red. Y'all done the right thing and done good.

Great deed, indeed. She loved the chicken breast, I'm sure..She sure does look like a friendly little gal...Gone 30 mins and that skinny???...she must have been running the whole time...She was gone a lot longer than 30 mins, in my opinion.

Thats why it imperative for all dog owners should get their dogs "chipped"...both of mine are
???

Mircochipped for proper identification. I mean really any Joe Schmo can walk up and say Thats my dog! and without tags no way to prove it. When a dog is chipped, the micro chip states owners name address and contact info. A dog lo-jack of sorts
