4 days ago, one of the best friends, neighbor, fishing and prospecting partner I've
ever had passed away. His name was Phil, but was a member here as Gnatnutz.
Phil always had a story to tell, and some of them were even true..
Aside from being one of the best steelhead fishermen I've ever known, he was
also one hellofa guitar player, and had made a living in his younger years playing
with several groups.
Along the way he met Charlie Gearheart, and Charlie loves to fish as much
as he loves to entertain, so they became good friends. Phil just loved Charlie's
music, and although I know Charlie's heart is hurting just as mine is, I'd like
to share a couple songs of Charlie's that Phil really enjoyed.
