Those guys must of tried to steal gold owned by Sutro.

Looks like they headed East, part of the the gang was caught in Auburn, Must of loaded the gold on a boat or ferry and headed for San Francisco on the Sacramento River.
That gold is long gone.
Probably in somebody's Rolex
I doubt a wells fargo stage was involved, most likely was a gold ore shipment, must of been heavy wagon.
