Went out again today with a pal of mine and hit some fields we know of in central Kentucky. We had great time today, but as usual we found our share of damaged points. We did get a few keepers including the paleo I found. It is made of Dover which is seldom found in the area (at least I never find it). The pic can't do it justice, but it is basal thinned with light grinding and very thin. I believe it to be some sort of transitional paleolithic dart. Now what it is, I am not sure of, but the basal thinning and grinding can rule out woodland period.
? Thanks for looking and happy hunting!
