Well there is more street/sidewalk construction in the area... I only got to hunt for an hour or so yesterday... but it looks promising...

lots of trash... several brass pieces... 3 Model T/A Valve Stem covers and the best one I ever dug and a toasty toasty 1898 Indian Head Penny! its not a lot but its still good when you have find 100+ year old coins and relics!

The last picture is of all the brass I found.... except the horse shoe... it actually unique... it is a very small horseshoe its smaller than my hand, but made of iron

They also come in different sizes... I suppose for different types of vehicles... and yes they have writing on the bottom just as you guys have stated but they also have a patient date too... most says 4 30 1907 7 9 1907 9 5 1916 I'll try to get a picture of it.

Saying, "goat-shoe" just doesn't have the same rough and rugged, manly ring to it.

Its a bit bigger than that... its a mule shoe... they did shoe mules it just that the shoes are not found that often.
