I hope 2018 goes as well for me as the last few weeks of 2017. Couple weeks ago found a Louisiana coat button and a handful of bullets. Went back today with minimal expectations and got blown out of the water by finding a VMM boxplate!
Sounded like all the other can shreds I'd been finding but flipped back 2 or 3 inches of dirt and there it was!
My son found the Virginia coat button and between the two of us we found a few bullets. Also found my first crotal(?) bell
and a scale weight used for business transactions. I will be walking two inches above the ground for a week! Thanks for looking, Merry Christmas everybody!
