This stone item has been in my Mom's garden for as long as I can remember. I played with it as a kid and told other kids it was an ancient indian hammer. I asked her the other day where she got it. She said she found it in a cave in Santa Barbara CA in the 1950's.
It's about 6 1/2 inches long and appears to maybe have some markings on the sides, but that side is a bit rough now and hard to make out. I have included pics with ruler and coke can to see its size. Anyone know what it is or it's value? Should I take it out of her yard and bring it inside? Thanks so much, Michelle
