Indian artifacts?

Hello,

I found these two potential artifacts today along a regional lake shore... any idea on what they could be? My initial research makes me think that they could be boat stones... any insights would be a great help!

I think I commented on your other post but the first one looks like an Ironstone concretion, again, I am not rock expert so don't quote me on it.

I've only taken one college geology course, but ironstone concretion sounds like a valid guess; there's a "shell" of sorts about the center of the red stone's insides. The second rock is probably a petrified wood piece. Not relics I don't believe, but really, really cool to find!
