I know many of you folks love old coins on this site. I wanted to show you guys that not only the buckle I dug the other day came out sweet if you can find a better looking dug copper coin anywhere I'd love to see it. Here's an 1859 indian that came out like the buckle, from our SC lowcountry sugar sand. It has a pretty green patina and is really nice and slick : Hope you enjoy the pic!

nice one!!! i found a 73 nicer then that. like u say soil is a big factor.. MR TUFF
 
I've seen some good coppers posted here, but never a copper-nickel coin that nice. Wow
