Indian head, possible hood ornament or radiator cap

I'm pretty sure this in not a Pontiac item (it doesn't seem to match any pieces I could find). It may or may not be a hood ornament or radiator cap, but that's my gut feeling. It seems to be made of a better grade pot metal. There are two 1/8 holes on the right and left of the head, so it probably had an attachment that was a headdress.

Maybe vintage Indian motorcycle fender ornament.

I've seen this before but can't remember where. (i've had my bell rung one to many times).
