Been hitting a couple places the last couple of days including my church which has been there since the late 1800s. Found three Indian heads a merc, dog tag from my county and a couple of tokens. The token that says Sandy Hook on it is one of my favorite finds! It's from my town and the man who's name is on it had a store and other businesses in the late 1800s early 1900s. Love finding artifacts with names on them!

Also found a Boy Scout token from 1910 at an old home. You can imagine my surprise when I pulled it out and seen a swastica on one side!

Those are some nice finds. I found a good luck token yesterday with a swami looking into a crystal ball that had a swastika in it. Was is the item on the far right of your top pic? I have found some of the before but I don't know what they are. Thanks

great digs.... love the tokens!

From what I see posted there you had a great hunt.

Battles,no it's the bottom pics. The swastika was a Boy Scout symbol until the Nazis began using it. The token in my top picture is from 1937 and celebrates the 20th aniversery of the signing of the armistice.

My bad... My question was about the rod looking thing.

Very nice finds! Congrats.

Sorry about that Battles. I thought you meant the tokens. I'm not sure what that rod thing is. Some type of weight maybe??

Oh ok. Again, nice finds.

Hello EC.Mason. Ya gotta love old tokens! Nice finds. I agree, items with names are the best. Hope that token keeps your luck good. Thanks for the post. C9

Congrats, :occasion14: Pulling 10 keepers is a great hunt in my book. You scored on that token and BSA coin.

NICE FOB AND FINDS ....

Thanks guys, I appreciate the compliments! Nothing like swinging that detector and finding something old!
