I finally got to go out after about 3 weeks (after a bad infection in my finger put me out of commission and on the borderline for surgery, which I luckily didn't need. Amazing how a small cut can spiral out of control). I am back in action now!

I hit an old local park in the county for a few hours. The same park I have pulled some nice coins out with my Etrac after it's been hunted out a lot. I found a good amount of clad, a lead bullet, a silver bullet pendant, a ring, 2 wheaties, and a 1876 indian head penny!

Glad we been having some decent weather in western PA for December!

Any time we can get out in December in Western PA its a bonus for us. Great finds. My kids went to school at IUP, nice little town.

My wife went to IUP and my sister in law is a teacher there at the Catholic school. I get up there often and enjoy Indiana. What a great town. I did get out to the parks there and found them hunted to death. Now I know who the "culprit" is. Great hunt and hope to see you around Indiana sometime.

Fantastic day Viddy. Were you using your AT Pro ? It's a coin magnet. You're not to far from me either... I spend some time in Forest County as well. Going to be nice today ! HH

nice hunt Viddy watch the dirt it will infect your fingures I try not to dig without gloves but I always carry peroxide and antibotic cream with bandaids. Yeh it sounds wimpy I know but a cut from the ground will go green quickly... Gangreen that is... Alot of germs in the dirt HH and congrats on the finds..

Nice finds there Viddy. Viddy, I saw that big park next to the Indiana Historical Society, is that park old? My son lives in Indiana, PA and when I visited him recently, he asked me to bring my metal detector with me so I can scan his yard. When he seen the stuff I pulled out of his yard, he was immediately hooked. He went out and purchased a White's M6. He hasn't been detecting much and he doesn't know any detectorists out there in Indiana, PA, you're the first one I saw on here. Anyways, he's a Chiropractor out there, FANELLA CHIROPRACTIC big letters on building right on Warren Road next to the Sheetz. If you ever need to see a Chiropractor, go see um', tell em I sent ya...........Rich

Nice haul for this time of year - hope the finger heals
