indian nail

I hunted for a couple of hours today and came back with a pretty good haul. The heartbreaker on the bottom left corner would have been super. Any ideas as to what it might have been before it was broken. It is very finely chipped all over. What kind of material might it be? I have never found any other like it at this site. This drill or indian nail i guess, is nice. It is not broken if it was it has been reworked. bedwards

grat finds looks like a drill but it don,t look broke but has been worked for sure goodluck happyhuntin ohio river hunter

Nice finds Bedwards! Very nice pencil drill. I have found 3 like that one over the past couple of years. Usually the plow or disc breaks them up. A guy or gal can get lucky and find a whole one every now and then.
