My last three detecting hunts have been somewhat serreal.
The site I was at has been hunted quite heavily over the years and with a new 13" Detech search coil on my V3i, I thought I'd give it a go.
During my first two hunts at this site, I recovered a 1945 Washington Quarter at about 10", a 1915 Motor Vehicle "dash-tag" and a man's 14k wedding band (name inscribed) which will be returned to one of his surviving daughters.
My last hunt was a first for me. . . I recovered six Indian Head Cents (the most I ever recovered in one hunt) and a 1923 Buffalo Nickel. . . and these were all 6" to 9" deep.
I wish all my hunts could be this productive.
Thanks for looking
