Indian, Wheaties, Tokens & a 1874 Canadian Quarter found In NW Ohio, NO JOKE:)

Hi all,
Well my buddy wanted to go hunting today, April 1, NO JOKE.
We went to some of my old One Room School house sites close to where
I live.

As you can see from the picture, I found 2 Indian Head pennies, 1881 & 1891,
a couple wheaties and 2 tokens. One of the tokens is from the Chicago Worlds
Fair 1933 and the other token is worth 25 cents in trade for 6 quarts, I would
guess that is quarts of milk, on the back of the token it says, not good for damaged
goods. J.C. II. I also found another Lutherian Sunday School pin, in really good shape.

Of course my buddy had to out do me. He found a Mercury dime, really worn and
no date and a wheatie and for the big prize he found a 1874 Canadian Quarter. Sorry
I don't have a picture of it, but if you want i'll get one.

Nice finds, I really like tokens as they are rarer than coins! HH, Mike

Neat stuff!

That Chicago World's Fair token is probably an elongated wheat cent, or if you're lucky an elongated Indian.

Thanks for all your comments. I do have to admit that not all my finds are great.
Like everyone else I did my share of JUNK. I always try to carry it out of the site
i'm hunting. I usually take it back home and go through all the junk, you never
know what you will find. One time I picked up what I thought was a washer
at a long cabin site. After getting it home and looking at it a little closer, I found
to my surprise that it was a Law's and Flags Civil War Token. So don't be afraid to
dig that junk, and be sure to take it with you, you don't want to dig it up again
the next time you dig at a site.

HH, Ringfinder
