What ups TNET?
I got out for a longer hunt for the first time since me and my bros Spokane trip. I’ve been out 2 or 3 times since but haven’t found anything to post about: until today.

I hit up my usual spot that hasn’t been producing as much as it once was, but since it’s close, I made a trip out again. I hunted for a while and found nothing but trash for maybe the first 45-60 minutes. Literally didn’t find a coin in that timespan.

Then I decided to try the walking path that seems a bit newer. About 5 minutes in, I get a penny signal on top of the ground assuming it’s just a regular coin. Boy was I surprised to see that it was an Indian head! I texted my brother in disbelief. ImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1522812339.003523.webpImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1522812355.854463.webp

I have never found a wheat on the ground let alone an Indian! I have no idea if it was a recent drop or not but either case, it’s mine!

Less than 30 minutes later I get this text from my brother:

We found the same date Indians in 2 different parts of the state! We’ve never found Indians on the same day before.

That was my only old coin of the day but I’m not complaining!

Congratulations on the IH's! :occasion14:

Nice find on that Indian head penny. and it still amazes me when an old coin is detected right on the surface,Recently Corvid and I were hunting an old church, and I got an Indian head totally on the surface I pushed it out using only my toe. That one was dated 1888.
