So I found this and I have read where there were Indians in this area of Colorado. You will notice from the pics there has been a large flake removed from the front side. On the back side, two flakes have been removed from each side. It fits perfectly in the right hand, the thumb resting in the front depression and the ridge on the back lining up with the first joint of the index finger. It was found in a creek so there could be water erosion. What was this used for? Maybe some type of gouge, or a graver? More importantly, how much can I sell this for? (And there is more to this story. I will put up a subsequent post and explain.) Your opinions?

I see a natural rock.

I'm only seeing natural rock sir....

Astute observations, od and th. You were kind in your responses as you probably thought I lost my mind someplace, but see my other post for an explanation. (I always wanted to use the phrase fits perfectly in the hand, which guarantees authenticity!)

LOL, when I read the "fits perfectly in the hand", I gave a sigh of relief......you had me for a second RGINN!

It is a joke 1320 and I'm still laughin cause I thought I crafted that post very well. This is for a guy at work who has pulled a couple on me and now it's my turn. It has backfired on me as this turned out to actually be the site of a prehistoric Ute hunting camp. I'll still pull the joke on him, but I'll have to give him a different location now.

My jaw dropped when I read "fits in the hand". You have posted the insignificance of fitting in the hand more than any other member here. Lol! Good one!
