Info on a tag?

I found this tag about 12 inches deep at a old homesite that was once there in NC. I also found my first civil war button, US staff officer's cuff and a pre-civil war box plate there too.... .. I can make out something NATION BRAO something at the bottom.. On top right corner "PALN" something... Got a man in the middle... Wonder anyone know something about it??

I see "combination" across the bottom left. "Patent" top right ? Possibly a crown in the center.

Yes it was figured out on there I just remembered what it was it's part of a medical device... a (combination brace).. And that was in the center of it
