Hi ALL, I dug this plain face flat button yesterday and have been looking on the net for more info on the backmark and have come up empty. If anyone has any info on it that would be great, like who made the button and age. Anyways thanks for looking and helping if you can.

As Relichunter97 indicated, the Jennens Co. (of London England) was a button manufacturer known for including the three-plumes emblem of the Prince of Wales in its button backmarks. Your British-made brass 1-piece button, with indented lettering in the backmark, dug in the USA, dates from about 1810 into the 1830s.
