Can't tell you anything about it other that I think it's a really nice looking knife!

I have to agree with Ken. Can you make sense of any of the writing? The Rooster Hallmark should be a good clue, but I'm not familiar with it.

The first two pictures I thought "marbles knife." But then that thought was blown away with the rooster and other writing. It's a great looking knife. You have a really nice grandpa.

The second line of text under the rooster is "Guad. Jal. Mex.", which is Guadalajara (in the state of Jalisco), Mexico.
