Info on Stan E.P Zinc?

Hello all! I'm hoping that someone out there can help me find more information on my serving tray. On the bottom of it it reads both "Stan E.P. ZINC" and a patent number. It came with a matching candle snuffer as well. From my research all I can find is that it seems to be from Italy. Does anyone have more information on this Stan brand?
