First off welcome to Tnet! They look to be Spanish American War era but the experts will identify them if you post it under "What Is It?" Forum in the "Our Discoveries" section. They will identify it quick. Anyways good finds and Happy Hunting!!!
 

Definitely NOT civil war era....I would guess 44 cal (pistol) or even 38...both which were in use early 1900.

They are .45-70 slugs from the Span-Am war. They are the most common American bullet from that war.
