What was this used for? friend found it while digging a pipe line for a subdivision.

Nice find. I've found many points on construction sites over the years. One pic makes it hard to type. Looks like a we'll used Culbreath but who knows? It favors several stemmed or basal notched styles. Very nice point for sure.

In southwest Georgia we'd most likely call that an Alachua point. Nice one!

Did some research based on Alachua ponts and found this link, it looks very similar to these types.

Owner of the construction site that I know is going to show me where they dug the pipe and such so i can sift/dig through the dirt see if theres anymore they didnt catch.
