I am new to this website but see that many of you are quite knowledgeable. I found this bullet in some of my grandfather's belongings, and I am hoping someone has information on the age or from what time of gun this is from. Looking forward to hearing from you!

Looks like about a .54 caliber bullet possibly from the civil war.
