Yes, the 'barrel' design with top and bottom hoops became generically associated with mustard starting in the mid 1800s. The pic below is from the Illinois Glass Company catalogue of 1906, but they were by no means the only producer. Screw caps began appearing around 1920 and, for the major producers, quickly replaced cork closures.
