Whites most advanced analog detector. I use to own one and wish I never sold it...

XL Pro is a really good detector, if you don't buy it please forward the contact info to me so I can check it out.....

I bought it for 260$ looks brand new...now I need to learn how to use it. Thank you for the reply.

260.00 dollars?????????What a deal!!!!!!!!Great machine!!!!

Gave one to my GF that I bought from one of my buddies and she loves it ...and uses it to this day.(it has been her only detector other than the Excal 2 I gave her. It has been used and abused and still runs strng and deep.

One of if not the best analog detectors ever maid  and it will get the job done as good or better than most detectors made today. Also the analog needle ID meter is dead on accurate with targets it is more accurate than a lot of the modern digital ID meters in many ways, you will see what I mean as you learn it.

My XL Pro is in ment condition and I will never get rid of it. I also have the 950" coil, the 8" and the 5.5" coil for it.

Get a copy of the owners Manuel from Whites if you don't have one ( a must have for the detector) and study it and learn the detectors functions and the proper way to ground balance it and it will not disappoint you.
Best Of Luck, :occasion14:

Thank you everyone for the helpful responses! As far as coil options go whats the market like for this detector, also how good is this for nugget shooting?

The XL Pro is not really a nugget detector by design but an awesome coin & jewelry detector. The 6.59 Hrz Whites 5.5 Bulls eye and the Whites 4x6 Blue Max lower frequency 6.59 Hrz coils are still available at Kellyco and some other Whites dealers you may need to call around. These smaller coils are great in high trash areas and a must have one or the other will do the job. A lot of guys love and prefer the 5.5 Bulls Eye coil on the XL Pro for trashy areas and others like the Blue Max 4x6 coil. You may find some used on E-Bay but beware they are used and coils take the abuse in the field. It may be harder to find the Whites Blue Max 8" or the Whites Royal 8" coils in 6.59 Hrz both awesome 8" coils. I prefer these over the stock 950 coil my self for general hunting but the stock 950 is not to bad and a really good coil as well.

Kellyco does have the Blue Max 8" coils available as well and the coils I listed above for the Whites XL Pro. I saw them on there web page looking at a coil options for my new Whites M6.
