Insulators?

Found these at an early 1900's to 1975 Cattlemen's Auction Yard.

Some were on phone poles with a hole on top center where the threaded handle and insulator were attached. Others where on the ground.

One reads THOMAS.

Any ideas of age?

And, when all else fails, check Flea-bay. Trouble is, I don't see dates mentioned.

If you found them in a stockyard, they may have been used with a hot-rod (electric prod) used for moving cattle.
