Interesting 40%er

A road trip about a week back produced only 2-40%ers and 6 silver dimes. This was one of the 2-40%ers. I thought the writing on it was interesting enough to post. A 1967 half with Dec 25 1968 on one side and Nonno Gino on the other. If only this half could talk, the stories it could tell. Maybe it was a Christmas gift to a child many years ago. Thanks for looking.

Back in the day people would tape half dollars on their windows for new years and some for christmas. Maybe that has something to do with it. Nice find on the walker ender too!!!

"Nonno Gino" in Italian is "Grandfather Gino". Most defiantly a Christmas present or something like I.S. said! Neat find
