looks like a piece of mc cable that wires run through but im guessing its not metal looks cool
 

wow closer look it looks like a tusk from something remember where you found it could be an old old fossil really cool
 

This has me stumped. Sure would be helpful to lay a coin by it and post another pick. No idea how large it is. Thanks
 

I think it may be the very edge of a type of marine snail shell, like right at the opening.. ill see if i can find a pic..

Might not be the Exact species, and it looks to be a fossil, so color is different from original, but i think that scalloped edge opening is what you have a piece of there..

This may be it. A fragment of a brittle star leg, the end that attaches to the main body. This image is a close match. Yours is a fossil, eroded out, and tumbled for awhile.brittle star.webp

It is 2 inches long and 1/4 of an inch wide. I’ve attached a picture with a quarter, butttt I made it into a necklace so it looks different. Lolimage.webp image.webp
