Interesting garage sale find

I picked this up for a couple bucks at a garage sale. I'm thinking maybe a toilet for a doll or something. At least that's my best guess. All the hardware appears to be fairly old.

I'm thinking a wall hung tobacco pipe stand? Set your pipe stem in the hole and keep your tobacco in the lower compartment A dolly potty? I find it funny how some things can be perceived.

Dang!. Very well could be a little stool. Guess I could see it used as a teaching device for the little Victorian children with a doll to act as an example in property potty etiquette.

I was thinking that it could be a lamp holder with the fuel container in the bottom and the glass chimney coming up from the hole in the top. Looks like really tiny hole for a real potty training chair.

Perhaps a salesman's sample? They were often just miniatures of the real thing.

On the door or panel that has the hook back by the seat area there looks like a square rod, does that side open also.One other question is does the hole go all the way through where something could drop into a pan or something?To me it looks like there are burn marks on it I think it was a candle holder and it does look old.Although that might not have been it's original purpose.

that bar moves but there isn't anything else that opens. The hole goes right into the storage area underneath.

I was leaning towards the tobacco pipe holder with maybe a tinew that goes in the hole and the peg was used to clean the inside of the pipe.
