Thursday I went to ME every other week bank to pick up 4 boxes, she had told ME last time that the Loomis guy was making comments about these halves- like I'm probly dumping at the CU where he has to pick up halves. So this last time she asks point blank where are these ending up? I told her to tell the Loomis guy that the Brinks guy is having to pick up most of ME dumps. She said the reason she asked is cause these boxes aren't from the FED- Loomis is rolling their own halves. I assured her that the amount I'm going through that Loomis is having to order boxes and Brinks is selling bags back to the FED. Got ME to thinking though cause I know of one CU branch where an old man brings in at least one box a day- and the ink on the boxes did change color recently and they haven't had hardly squat in them. Sometimes when I get ME two boxes one will be the old yellow and the other the orangish tan. So the question is, How do you make sure your coin is coming from the FED when you have to go through an armoured service to get them. Also I think I finally ran them out of halves again as two boxes for Friday were ordered and not delivered, this was my busy week after all- I did 15 boxes this week. Hope they are ordering some in cause I'ma gonna pound em haha.
HH all, Mark

Same thing is happening to me in my town. Recent change of color on my rolls as well, and the finds have gone WAY down.

Plus, the armored company (FED, according to my CU) is having a hard time getting halves.

I find it hard to believe the FED has run out of halves!

When tellers ask me what I do with the coins, I make it very clear I don't take the coins back to them, not even to a different branch.
