Interesting token in $1.99 bag of buttons

I'm a sucker for bags and jars of buttons, especially when they're inexpensive. I always seem to find odd things among the buttons and today was another example. A small bag, with a few MOP, pressed glass and bone buttons which I always like. I saw what looked like a coin. When I turned it over it has a devil's head and crossed bones. I immediately searched on Ebay and found someone selling extremely poorly made replicas (multiple misspellings!) for $15-$18 each. I can't find any photos of actual old examples to find out what it is. Some sort of church token? Good luck token?

Thanks. It is very similar. The wording is slightly different. That says ‘Success is Mine’. Mine says ‘Success is Yours’. Curious! Thanks for posting.
