I've been using that site for quite some time and have even posted the link on here a few times before. You must have missed it then muddy feet, but thanks for posting it again so more people can find it. It's a great site for ID'ing points.

Wonder if it wouldn't hurt to have one thread that could stay up on top of the furom with different links in it to sites like that for all of us to search.

I agree, I find links sometimes and post them because they are new to me, and I get a half dozon replys of people saying, "that was posted 6 months ago"

I have my Bookmarks filled with great links including the one Seger gave, it took lots of research to find these links, it would be great to have a sticky that we could have updated, I am sure there are more that I dont have.

Like I said, not a problem muddy feet. It never hurts to repost these links since the posts with them on there usually get lost in the shuffle pretty quickly. I like the idea about putting a post at the very top of the page to put links on an let it stay up there.

I also have used this site for some time. I give the addy to all new collectors, its very helpful. Save going through all the sites listed.

Muddy, I am sure you posting it again will help new ppl. Dorkfish usually posts it every so often.

Dork, look at the pics of "heavy duty" points. They are, although uncommon, very unique looling points and the ones shown are not heavies. IMHO!

great site, I use it frequently, hate to knock overstreet, but I wish they were as thorough as this site with types.

Chuck, yeah I agree that those pictured don't look like Heavy Duty Points. The problem with some of the pics on that site and others I've been on is they rely on people to send in pictures of points to post with the description and sometimes they aren't what people claim them to be. I can't remember exactly what type it was, but there was another point I looked up on there once that had a picture of a completely different type. It's still not a bad site for ID'ing points though.

Great site! Thanks. I have an old archaeoligist who worked for Indiana State years back who mentors me and let me borrow a Perino book. I like the pictures on this site though.
