I have found an item that I need b
Help identifying. The site is in north Georgia and the items found date late 1700s to early 1800s.

This item has a hole at the top of it. Others have said that it looks like a big file.

What do yall think?

Thanks.
Maybe it was a blade , like how you pull up and down and would cut the paper in schools. Something like that concept

Maybe. That's what is difficult about colonial finds. I've got other tools that I can't identify.
