Iron meteorites

These are three more iron meteorites I have. They are Sikhote-Aline that fell Feb 12th 1947 in eastern Siberia.

I love the small splashform individuals and shrapnel pieces from this fall. They sometimes have cute aerodynamic sculpting, like this:

Here's a larger piece that has been sectioned and polished. This one has a large accumulation of troilte inclusions in the middle. It's an iron sulphide which is rare on Earth, but not uncommon in meteorites.
