Found this piece around an area that I’ve found 1820’s-1900’s type artifacts. First 3 photos is out of the ground- second 3 are after a week in an electrolysis tank. I still have no idea... Looks like the grinder facing to some type of grinding mill.

It's the rotating burr from a corn grinder. The square end was for the handle. This type started in the 1880's. Could be a Stover brand.

I think it's definitely for a hand crank coffee grinder. Here is image of one taken apart.Cleaning Before and After.webp

I was just going by the size. Some coffee grinders had a burr like that just smaller. That's the same grinder in the picture I posted on the left. It is a little larger and is a Red Chief meal grinder.
