✅ SOLVED Iron Object??

I found this metal detecting a long time ago when I was like 6. It was outside right next to my house and I didn't know what it was. I always thought maybe a plane or jet bullet shell from a long time ago (there is an air force base not far from my house). It has some strange cloth like material in it and a weird little "bump" on the tip.

Looks like a capacitor from an old radio, they would blow up sometimes. They had foil and cloth or wax paper rolled up inside with tar and were able to store high voltage for short periods of time. That's my guess.

Turns out its an old AA battery
