Sorry if I am posting a lot on the ID forums, its just I am new to Treasure Net and I want to get things I found in the past ID'd. I found this strange, hollow aluminum object on Wild Cat Mountain, Colorado and I used to think it was some bullet or something but I wasnt sure. Now I dont know if it is some video-game stylus or what. But I will have some people look at it here and help me out :) IMG_0261.webpIMG_0262.webp

Tent pole tip ?

I would have said it's an old bullet pencil except the tip usually slides inside the casing and not over it as this piece does. :dontknow:

I think duggap is correct. Part of an aluminum target arrow.

I agree with aluminum arrow, but why would anyone be out in the mountains with target arrows, targets don't live out there, only animals.

Do they make target arrows with aluminum tips? Aluminum seems awful soft for an arrow tip.

...But I'll be danged, that IS what it looks like!

Ohhhhhhhhh, there is an archery field at that location. And it's for teaching so they would use a dull tip. Thanks everyone

I taught many many adults and kids to shoot archery. That is what it is.... If you opened it up there's probably some wood near the tip within the collar.
