Iron point ..?

The iron part is 4'' long by 1 3/4'' at it's widest . The brass screw is 2'' . The screw looks like it was for going into wood . Any ideas ? Thanks !

That is a Finial for an Iron Fence.

They didn't use wood screws for iron fences (but) it is a finial for sure!

An iron Finial on a wooden fence? I wouln't want that in my yard lol.? Perhaps the "female" part of the IRON fence could have been tapped to fit this screw?
