I can't figure out what this is for . Each slot has 3 rollers . The base is 7'' X 12'' and is made of wood . It weighs about 8 pounds .

I tried the Patent Search, using various combinations of what I thought the number in the image is, but couldn't find it. PBK decyphered the patent number for the Nazi Lucky Charm, so maybe he can do it for this, as well.

Mojjax, Does the center wall move back & forth? I am thinking this may be an antique woodworkers tool for fastening veneer onto wood...the rollers allow the slats of wood to slide through as the holes would have a pin (clamp) that held the two tight......Great Imagination huh??? :D still looking!

M , no - the only moving parts are the rollers . Thank you for your question .

Perhaps a "guide" for braiding three strand wire into cable or for braided rope? Just guessing....
Looked at that possibility but can't find the tool like it!

I tried a patent number search, too, and came up with some sort of cultivator patented in 1866. None of its parts looked anything like that.

I think I'm gonna buy the "Squirrel Racing Gate" theory. At least, I like that one the best. :D
