Ok first I apologies for posting this here but seems this forum get the most views and I need help quick before I destroy some relics. I am doing electrolysis on my iron items. Some items just won't drop all the rust there are some small spots still there I have been slowly cooking them but they are starting to fall apart before the small rust spots clear up. Should I just preserve them as is before they just fall apart. Also like iron buckles the buckle cleans just fine but the roller will not come clean and the longer it cooks the roller just falls apart. HELP Please

I don't know alot about electrolysis, but I know enough that if something is falling apart to stop.

I've had that happen a couple times on smaller item. When that occurs I take a sharp object and pick away at the remaining rust, then preserve it.
