Is it a handle for something?

I found this in my own yard today. At first I thought it was a screwdriver handle but it is pretty ornate for a screwdriver but also pretty industrial at the same time.
I have no idea. Any thoughts?
It's about 4 inches long and has no markings.

thats back when they had a slot in the medicine cabinet to dispose of the blades into the wall cavity...ain't it? now that i did not know,a tub tile w/slot

I still shave with a safety razor and shaving soap. Cheap and effective.
