Is it a Hoganflagle or a Verpshnyder?

Hi; dug these two items yesterday out of a field where i have been digging eagle buttons and wanted to see if they rung a bell with anyone. No clue what they are. The brass cylinder has two holes on each side.

Just a guess ... old lock cylinder?

Those are going to be hard to ID . The Button , someone may know about that though , but the other ? It could be just about anything .

I think the top, round object is some type of concho. Maybe tent related

It seems a part is missing on the square holed item, and the other has two holes, how far apart?
Might have been like a holder for a knife bayonet or similar item if they both are part of the same thing.

The round item is beyond all doubt a concho. The other one, I don't recognize.
